ALERTS

Alerts are short messages that notify you of events happening (such as unlocking a reward or receiving an invitation) and, if appropriate, allow you to quickly respond. Alerts will pop up in the top right corner of the screen and be visible for 5 seconds. Pressing the START button while an alert is visible opens the Menu Pad and takes you directly to that message. If you don't want to respond right away all alerts are stored under the "Alerts" section of the Menu Pad.

NOTE:If your PS Home character stands idle for 30 minutes, a timer will be displayed on-screen and a 60 second countdown will begin. If you do not move your character before the timer reaches zero, you will be disconnected from the PS Home servers and returned to the Welcome Screen.

HOME TRUTH: Don't forget, the Online Manual is just one way to find out how PS Home works. Check out the "Help" option on the Menu Pad for more tips, and remember you can run through the tutorial as many times as you like!
